Neal S. Lachman - Founding Managing Partner

Mr. Lachman has 25 years of business experience, including 20 years in finance and technology. He is a thoroughly experienced, energetic and bold investor who is “cut from entrepreneurial cloth.” Mr. Lachman is also a pragmatic and strategic planner with a long-term business philosophy. His largest investment and most immediate project concerns Angie Communications International B.V.

At the moment, after almost 15 years in the making (since founding Angie Communications’ predecessor company in 2000), Mr. Lachman is heading a global team of experts that intends to build some of the largest privately developed projects in the world, namely Next-Generation cable and communications infrastructure in the USA, UK, the Netherlands, France and Germany.

Mr. Lachman is widely recognized as one of the early pioneers in the Fiber To The Premises (FTTP) industry, and a significant contributor in the Mobile Broadband/Wireless Access (MB/WA) industry. These industries are estimated to exceed a trillion dollar value within the next decade as they are widely deemed as the replacement industries of the traditional telecommunication and cable industries.

As lead-researcher and lead-author, Mr. Lachman literally wrote "the book" (a 150+ page White Paper) on Next Generation communications in June 2007: "Building Communications Infrastructures for the 21st Century: A Multi-Billion Dollar Opportunity for Investors, Vendors and Partners". More than 2,000 industry experts read this publication.

As a respected pioneering technologist and visionary investor, Mr. Lachman is frequently invited to speak about Next Generation communications technologies at important industry events such as the FTTH Council’s WDM-PON Forum (Munich, Germany) and the LTE World Summit (May, 2012, Barcelona, Spain). In August 2012, his analysis of Google's Fiber project in Kansas Ciity, MO, USA was featured by Forbes Magazine and discussed by several industry publications. International B.V.

Mr. Lachman has been successful in retaining most of the earliest talented people who joined him in 1999/2000. Most of Angie's current executives are long-time associates.
